Let’s show our neighbors and businesses that we care about them by following the prevention guidelines, including wearing a face covering in indoor public spaces. With more than 3,300 COVID-19 positive cases reported within 100 miles of Malheur County, it’s especially important for everyone who lives, works, worships, plays, and shops in our community to wear a face covering, wash hands, and keep 6′ distance from people you don’t live with. We know how to flatten the curve of this surge in cases. Help us! We’re in this together.
I was wondering if they required and made N95 masks mandatory would they be more effective in stopping the spread of covid. Also is there places where I can buy N95 masks? Thanks for your time Ken

Ken, N95 masks should be saved for medical workers who are treating a patient who is potentially or confirmed positive for COVID-19. The N95 masks have to be fitted per person. If more people just wore cloth or disposable face masks, it would significantly reduce the spread person to person. So instead of requiring N95 masks, the state of Oregon now mandates masks in indoor public spaces. It will definitely help if everyone follows the guidance. If you need a cloth face covering, you can pick one up at our office!
Thanks for wearing your masks in stores and other public places. The life you save may be me!!
